07 July 2023

On July 7-8, 2023, TTW joined forces with the Bang Pa-In Industrial Estate Office to organize activities for the development projects, study visits, and relationship building of the Eco-Industrial City Network (Eco Green Network) 2023. The project aims to raise awareness and build a knowledge base for the community to develop, expand, and operate in the area. The activities included study visits to various projects aligned with the royal initiative of King Rama IX. The focus of the project was on creating green areas and reducing global warming through initiatives such as reforestation, including the planting of trees in people's hearts and implementing the "3 forests, 4 benefits" concept. Additionally, the project promoted the utilization of household herbs to produce various products like soap, shampoo, and dishwashing liquid. This initiative encouraged household herb cultivation for personal use and sale, aiming to increase income and reduce expenses. This comprehensive project involved the participation of all sectors in strengthening the community's self-reliance and fostering a peaceful and sustainable coexistence between the industry and the community. TTW supported this project with a contribution of 30,000 baht. The network members participating in the activities consisted of 80 representatives from local administrative organizations, government agencies, educational institutes, community leaders, and community enterprises surrounding the estate. The activities took place at the Bhumirak Dhammachart Center, The Chaipattana Foundation in Nakhon Nayok Province.
