In 2011, TTW invested in CK Power PCL’s common stocks

A holding company that invests in different companies in Thailand and overseas that generate and distribute electricity. In this regard, CKP invests in the subsidiaries and affiliates that generate and distribute the electricity in 3 business groups as follows:

Business Groups

The Company has the policy to invest in businesses related to water, energy, and environment, in order to increase income in addition to revenue from the water supply business. The management of such associated companies or subsidiaries, the company will appoint a representative of the company to be a director of that company to supervise the operations of subsidiary companies to be in the appropriate direction.

Hydroelectric Power Business

  • TTW has invested in the common shares of Luang Prabang Power Company Limited (LPCL), a company registered in the Lao PDR that holds a concession from the Lao government to develop and construct the Luang Prabang Hydroelectric Power Project (LPHPP). TTW currently owns 10 percent of LPCL’s registered capital of 41,868 million baht. Construction is expected to be completed in 2029, with commercial operations scheduled to begin in 2030.
